The North Carolina Leadership Accelerator (NCLA) is a regional program directly responsive to a need for enhanced visibility, influence, and advancement of mid-career professionals of color across the region’s core industries.
Registration for the Class of 2025 is open now through January 31, 2025.
Who Should Consider This Program?
This program offers a transformative experience tailored to mid-level and individual contributors in the Research Triangle and Charlotte, NC Region, with a focus on creating and seizing opportunities to break into the leadership tier of their organizations. Those selected for the program will be chosen for demonstrated desire and potential to lead, as selected by their supervisor.

Regional economic focus
The curriculum builds competence and regional economic awareness with attention on establishing industry, peer, and mentorship networks to build and leverage professional influence.
Career advancement
Each class meets monthly for advanced training sessions designed to hone and upgrade skills so that participants can effectively move into and succeed in leadership positions.
executive coaching
Between sessions, participants meet in focused cohorts to work with an executive coach in assessing and applying learning and peer feedback. Coaches leverage Emotional Intelligence theory and findings of their individual personalized assessments, among other tools to strengthen relational and professional insight.
