Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Health Advancement and several other entities are joining forces to establish a new purpose-driven nonprofit with a mission to improve the oral health of all. The new organization (legally referred to now as Catalyst Institute, Inc.) will continue the important work of transforming the industry—and the health care system—by redefining prevention and care. This nonprofit will lead the charge for oral health industry improvements, including work that extends beyond the dental chair and into the community, addressing total health and the social and cultural factors. Work includes improvement initiatives, grantmaking and advocacy focused on the way care is provided and paid for, how care is discussed and prioritized in policies and communities, the investments made to improve the care experience and the changes needed to advance health equity.
